Malfoys and Potters

"You're welcome..." He murmured and carefully began to cast spells here and there, setting up the upset bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and several other things that had taken a ride in James' tidal wave. He went about levitating the rubber ducks and boats back into the tub as he wasn't sure where they went.

He was casting a drying spell on the walls to finish up when he turned to Harry.

"Have you tired grounding him or making him clean up the mess he makes? He might make one the next time if he's stuck drying out the carpets without magic." Once he was finished he walked over to Harry. "You look so tired, Harry." Lucius said and put his hands on his face.

"Poor Harry. You work so hard, and you hardly get the chance to rest." He cooed gently and began to slide his hands down his neck, rubbing his shoulders. "Always taking care of others, when was the last time someone took care of you...?" He wrapped his arms around him, slowly sliding his hands up and down the middle of his back- rubbing out the tension.

Harry looked a little defeated.

"I can't quite bring myself to do it," He admitted, to the question of punishing James. "We've had several talks about such issues. James doesn't see why it's a problem for him to do such things when they can be fixed easily with magic."

Harry let out a breath as Lucius' hands slid down his neck. He moaned softly as Lucius continued to rub his shoulders, and back.

"Lucius--that feels wonderful..." Harry kissed Lucius slowly, enjoying the moment of quiet and peace, and the feel of Lucius so close to him.

"James has to learn that it's not the fact that magic can fix it, it's that it bothers you that you have to fix it because he's not behaving. I know it's hard to discipline a child, it seems like every time I did with Draco, Narcissa undid it." He made a face. "But this isn't exactly the time to talk about this." He murmured in Harry's ear and placed a kiss there.

He leaned into the kiss as his hands continued to work Harry's back and shoulders. He parted from him, placing a firm kiss on his lips before letting his hands drop. "I think it's time for all good aurors to head to bed."

Lucius reached down and took Harry's hand. "Come on then... show me to where that would be. I'll make sure you're comfortable before I go."

Harry linked his fingers with Lucius' and showed Lucius to his room.

"Here it is, in all of its grandeur," Harry joked. He moved towards his bed, which looked so very comfortable right now. He kicked his shoes and sat down on the side of the bed, undoing the buttons on his shirt.

"Yes, I know I should be firmer with James. Maybe I'll do better next time," Harry yawned.

"It's magical." He smirked a bit and sat down beside him. "You'd best start now... Before he becomes too rebellious to listen. If you think he's crazy now, can you imagine him at fifteen?" Lucius drawled out, poking him lightly in the chest. "Tomorrow I'll take James to Bounce Magic. I'll try my damnedest to ware him out. I have no idea how I'll fare, but I have energy potions at my disposal."

He leaned over and kissed Harry's neck. "Whenever you need my help, Harry- just let me know. We're a couple. I'm starting to see your two as my two as well. But... alas, for now, I need to head back. I have to be up in the morning to babysit Scorp while his mother goes to the salon for... whatever she does for hours at a time. I'll be around at 5 to get James. Until then... sleep well Harry."

He leaned over again, kissing him slowly on the lips. "Goodnight..."

Harry paled.

"Oh Lucius. I really don't want to think of James at fifteen."

Harry closed his eyes, listening to everything Lucius had to say. He laughed about the 'energy potion' comment.

"That sounds perfect." He returned Lucius slow kiss. "Goodnight."

Harry was glad for 5 to roll around the next day. He had told James Lucius would be by to get him later for a special outing, and James had been excited since. When Lucius came, Al hugged him, and then backed off to avoid trampling by James.

"Where are we going!" James jabbered excitedly. "I can't wait!"

Lucius that day, spent it with Scorpius- he read to his grandchild, played with him- and took him for ice cream at Diagon Alley before returning him to Astoria. Unfortunately his visit came with questions. Mostly about his relationship with Harry Potter.

As he drank his energy potion, he considered Scorpius's last question.

"Can I play with them grandfather? Do you think they'll be my friends?"

He knew Al would. But the question was so heartbreaking. He shook the thought from his mind as he made his way to Harry's. He wore the standard jeans he wore on their last outing together, along with a red button up shirt and a long waist coat.

"Al!" He exclaimed and hugged him, surprised as James ran over to him. "It's a surprise, James. You'll see in just a minute." He promised and pulled out a blindfold. "I can't have you seeing the surprise before we're there." He tied the blindfold around his eyes. "Alright, Harry- Al... have a good night. We'll be back around nine. ...That is, if James can keep up with me." He teased lightly and took his hand.

He apparated James out of the Potter's house, and right around the corner from the big square building. "We're almost there, James." He promised as he lead the boy into Bounce Magic. He quickly paid for the passes, and undid the blindfold.

Out in front of them were five massive bounce houses, and two huge inflatable slides that skimmed the ceiling. There was an arcade, and a sign pointing to glow in the dark mini golf. "Well... here we are. You can bounce as much as you want- and when you're done with that, we'll do... whatever those machines do." He gestured toward the arcade and prize counter. "Just take off your shoes before getting in those houses. ...If you want, I'll bounce with you. It seems like adults are allowed."

James tried to hold as still as possible as Lucius tied the blindfold onto him. He was bubbling over with excitement. He heard his brother, though he couldn't see him. Everything was now dark.

"Maybe James shouldn't go since he flooded the bathroom and hallway last night." Al said, crossing his small arms and looking seriously, with a small frown, at his blindfolded brother. Harry stroked Al's unruly hair. Sometimes Harry didn't quite like that his youngest was at many times more like a tiny adult than a child.

"You just leave it me, Al." Harry said lowly.

"Anyway, I've been good today!" James proclaimed, and stuck his tongue out in the direction he supposed Al was...though he was really making the face at a portrait of Sirius.

James felt the sensation of apparating, and then his ears were full of all sorts of arcade sounds and the laughter of other children. He wanted badly to yank the blindfold away and run towards the nearest thing, but Lucius had taken it off first, and was talking to him. James nodded eagerly at Lucius words, and looked around for a moment to take everything in. Al would have been overwhelmed, but James was just torn as to which direction to take off, and what to do first. Well, why not tackle the biggest thing there was head on?

James pelted towards the largest bounce house, and could hardly stop long enough to pull his shoes off.

"C'mon Mr. Lucius!" James climbed into the bounce house, and began to jump with the others.

Lucius sighed a bit at the funny looking inflatable house filled with kids and a few parents. He took his pointed boots off, and crawled through the opening. When he stood up, he instantly fell down again on the bouncy material. "Heavens!"

He looked to James with wide eyes. This honestly was the perfect place to take a child who created his own perpetual energy. He watched the children bounce around, laughing and playing with such great gusto. Most of the parents were sitting on the side, obviously exhausted by their energized children.

Well, Lucius didn't take that potion for nothing. He stood back up on shaky legs, bouncing over to James. "I think I'm getting the hang of this." He said and bounced right by James, making the boy bounce higher in the air as a result. "Ha!" He grinned.

One of the parents, a boorish looking man with big arms and slicked black hair watched Lucius bounce around with what he assumed was his son. What he did notice was the blonde's lack of wedding ring and presumable lack of partner to go along with that missing item. He sat back for a bit, enjoying the sight of those long legs and perky bottom jumping up and down. It was quite a sight, one too good to pass up. Smirking he stood up to his feet and attempted to swagger on over to Lucius and James. "Hey love, haven't seen you here before."

Some of the women in bounce cringed instantly, feeling for Lucius instantly. Lucius however, frowned and stopped bouncing with James. He scowled at him. "Of course not. Come on, James- let's go bounce over there." He muttered and gestured vaguely to an area that didn't have this large man in it.

James bounced until he grew bored of that bounce house, and then he crawled to the large slide and slid headfirst out of the bounce house. He picked himself up laughing, and shouting for Lucius to join him.

After both were safely out of that bounce house, James was stuck with a dilemma. Move on to another bounce house, the glow-in-the-dark mini-golf, or the arcade games. James figured Lucius hadn't ever played an arcade game before, and James could show him all sorts of fun things.

James grabbed Lucius' hand and took him to the whack-a-mole game, and had great fun banging little plastic animals on the head with a big mallet.

"See, then you get tickets if you do good!" James broke off the strand of orange tickets that curled out of the machine after his turn was over. "And tickets get you prizes!"

James showed Lucius how to play various arcade games, and he kept going back to the candy-crane, and maneuvering it to pick up loads of Smarties, tiny boxes of Nerds, Laffy Taffy, bubblegum, Tootsie pops, Pixie Sticks, and a variety of sugar filled treats. By the time James had finished bouncing in the other bounce houses, his cheeks were bright, and his dark hair stuck damply to his forehead and the back of his neck. After hours of non-stop running around like a mad thing, James was slowing down. His eyelids began to droop a bit.

James dug around in his jean pockets in search of more fuel, but all he pulled out were candy wrappers. He slumped against Lucius' and hugged him.

"Guess I should go turn in my tickets for prizes..."

James dragged his feet as he walked to the counter, and plopped his tickets on top. He was told how many tickets he had, and then he stooped to peer into the case at all things and decide. The man who had commented to Lucius earlier in the bounce house lingered nearby, and was openly checking Lucius out again.

Lucius was so thankful he took those energy potions. Never had he met a little boy who made his own energy. But thankfully all the bouncing was starting to take it out of him. He was honestly having a great time, who knew this could be so much fun?

He nodded along, watching James play the games, enjoying the one where they both got to shoot at the screen with plastic guns the most. He also enjoyed the air hockey table, and skee ball for that matter too. He figured by this point, James was sweaty and tired- and in danger of a serious candy melt down.

Lucius hugged him back, ruffling his hair a bit. "Ah yes, you have so many. You should be able to get quite the prize- you did so well! And then afterwards, we'll go grab something to eat. You can't just eat candy, your father will kill me and you'll get a belly ache. We'll get some pizza at that little restaurant on the way home ...Ah, look at you, you must be hungry! You're full of sweat and you're all flushed." He looked amused and looked into the case at all the toys.

He didn't understand what half of these things were, but James did have a lot of tickets. Enough to get most small things in the case or a few of the larger things hanging behind the counter.

He bristled slightly when he felt eyes on him again. He scowled at the man for a moment, trying to get his point across. However, the man didn't seem to get the hint and he strolled right on over. "Hello, gorgeous."

"Yes, hello. Goodbye." He snipped.

"Don't be that way. I can't help but notice that you're still alone. Still don't have a ring on your finger. How can something so pretty not have a proper escort."

"I do." Lucius said and put a hand on James's head. "And you're ruining our time. Come on, James. Pick out something."

"Well, don't let me hurry you and your date!" He chortled and threw his meaty hand back- slapping Lucius hard on the ass. The sound seemed to echo.

Lucius looked murderous as he whipped around and grabbed the man's thick arm and got into his space. Using the man's weight against him he threw him over his hip in a hip toss his father taught him. The big man looked stunned and stood up, blinking. He stared at the blonde before slowly backing up. Lucius looked satisfied as he turned back to James. "There. Now, back to the important things, hm?"

James eyes grew wide as he watched Lucius grab the big man, and hip-toss him.

"WHOAH. Mr. Malfoy--that was SO cool. Can you teach me how to do that?" James turned back to the counter. "Oh yeah, my prize!"

James chose a large stuffed lion that had a red bandanna around its neck, and had enough tickets left over to get a whoopee-cushion too. James held the lion under his arm, and grinned wickedly at the whoopee-cushion.

"Mr. Malfoy, know what this does?"

James handed Lucius the lion, and then huffed and puffed on the whoopee-cushion until it was blown up. Giggling he put the cushion on the floor, and then sat down on it. The sound exploded loudly as the cushion deflated, and James toppled over and rolled around on the floor consumed by giggles.

"You know, muggles have classes where you can learn to do that. That's how my father learned and he showed me. Maybe you can take those classes too." Lucius said and blinked at his own choice of words. It was a good idea- maybe he could burn off some of his energy in one of those classes. And possibly learn some discipline too. Then again, alone, James was being excellent. Hyper, but most kids were.

"Ah... No clue." He said and watched the boy sit down on this cushion. Chuckling, he sighed. "You are your Uncle George's nephew through and through. I'm sure he'll love that prize, you'll have to show him the next time you see him." He watched James rolling around on the ground and got down with him- tickling his sides. His attitude was infectious, he couldn't help but want to join in no matter how ridiculous he looked on the floor rough housing with James.

He didn't notice the looks he was getting from other parents, but they were grinning at the cute display between the two of them.

"Alright, alright- enough. Come on, I'm starved. Let's go get something to eat. He stood up, picking up James with him and dusted him off to make sure that he was leaving all the floor dust behind-- where it belonged. "We'll make sure to come back again."
